A New Short Film Demonstrates the Difficulty of Escaping City Life Breaking free from urban life is no easy feat for the main figure in “Le Silence de la rue,” or “The Silence of the street.” The monochromatic film produced by Miyu Productions, which is led by Emmanuel-Alain Raynal and Pierre Baussaron, details the stark dichotomy of spending time in unaltered natural spaces and in a dirty, bustling neighborhood. Opening with a blooming flower, the gloomy film turns to a black being who struggles to stay afoot in the dense streets as a horde of anonymous figures push by. Wave-like elements envelop him until he’s transported to a tiny boat at sea, where he momentarily finds peace. But soon enough, he’s hurled back into the crowd before finally losing his dark hue and joining others as they pile onto the public bus, proving his inability to escape city life. The 2D digital animation was directed by Marie Opron in 2019 and is set to music by composer Francois Poitou . F

Renowned Artist Chetan Raut creates world's biggest Ram Darbar In Mumbai Renowned Mumbai-based concept artist Chetan Raut has created world"s biggest Ram Darbar in Mumbai. The mosaic portrait of the Ram Darbar is made up of 2 lakh clay lamps measuring 60 ft x 90 ft. This creation is Chetan"s 10th world record. The mosaic portrait of the Ram Darbar is world"s biggest portrait. 30 people had worked day and night to complete the portrait in three days. Speaking to ANI, Raut said,"This is my 10th new world record. Through this portrait, we welcomed New Year. We have made world"s biggest Ram Darbar with 2 lakh clay lamps."

This Artist Uses Snowshoes to Carve Massive, Ephemeral Artworks into the Snow Simon Beck‘s art is inspired by the natural wonder and intricate nature of snowflakes; he travels the world carving large-scale artworks (around 300 pieces to date) into snow-covered landscapes using only his manpower and a pair of snowshoes. Many of his ideas come from patterns found in nature (snowflakes, spiraled cactus spears, cannabis leaves); crop circles; mathematical equations; and even iconic artists such as Vincent Van Gogh.
